Baxter & Anthony live all the way on the West Coast now but decided to come back to their roots for their wedding celebration! Even though they love the Outer Banks and wanted to spend quality time here with their people around the wedding, they didn’t want the actual wedding to be beachy but instead more of an elegant look! They opted for 108 Budleigh in Manteo for it’s character!
With two different gathering spaces upstairs available, both the ladies and then men were all able to get ready at the venue! Alicia & Kelly of Lovie’s Salon were onsite at 108 Budleigh to do hair & makeup.
The ceremony was held in the lawn adjacent to the 108 Budleigh property and offered a gorgeous garden style location. Ceremony chairs were rented from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. Close family friend, Bill Williams, officiated the ceremony.
The ceremony arch & flowers as well as all the reception centerpieces and venue decor were all by The Embellishers (now under the I Do OBX umbrella!) I loved the rich fall colors of oranges & purples that Baxter used! Fall is the perfect time for rich jewel tones!
The reception was catered by Basnight’s Lone Cedar and everyone was treated to a delicious plated dinner. The cake was created by a Elite Custom Cakes out of Norfolk, VA!
The party was epic in part to this fun crowd and also due to their friend, DJ David Ali from NYC on the mic!
OBX Bride Ride provided safe transportation for the wedding party at the end of the reception.
Blushwood Studios out of Virginia was able to capture all the beauty of the day – here are just some of my favorites below!
