Emily & Kevin’s Whalehead Club Wedding

Emily & Kevin’s October Whalehead Club wedding was just perfection! The day felt like summer still, the sound so calm and a sunset to die for! The Whalehead Club in Corolla is one of my very favorite venues – it’s got an unparalleled soundfront view from almost anywhere & all the Southern Charm! It’s also close to the Lighthouse & offers so many other great photo opportunities on site!

The sweet team at Glimmer pampered Emily and her ladies with hair & makeup for the wedding – everyone looked flawless but natural! OBX Trolley brought the wedding party over from their rental houses to the venue & provided safe transportation home at the end of the night.

Emily & Kevin used Metro Rental for their tent and dinner ware – and make sure you check out the tent in the photos below! They opted for “pole tent” which features super-high ceilings – they’re gorgeous! They also opted for farm tables & vintage mismatched chairs from Renee Landry Events – they looked great at both ceremony & reception! Much of the decor for the tablescapes including the candles, table numbers, napkin rings and more were DIY , however the Flower Girls OBX provided all of the incredible florals! Emily’s bouquet is still one of my all time favorites!

Red Sky Cafe served up a family style meal for each table and then a table full of sweets provided was available later in the evening. Jeremy Russell of Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment treated guests to his acoustic music for ceremony & cocktail hour and then DJ’ed the night away!

The insanely talented, internationally renowned Fer Juaristi flew in & captured the families in the days leading up to the wedding & then the amazing wedding day photos below!

Yours,
Ashley
