Jess & Ryan’s Corolla Wedding | Corolla Wedding Planner

Jess & Ryan chose to have their wedding in Corolla at their grandparent’s beach house and continued bringing in family & heartfelt details throughout the celebration. So many of their friends and family made the trip down from Virginia and it was truly a beautiful celebration. I can honestly say I’ve never felt more love and support for a couple than on April 29th for these two!

One of my favorite details of the day were the robes & cute mugs that all the bridesmaids used when getting ready – such a cute touch! Jess went to Lovie’s Salon in the morning to have her hair done & then returned home to relax with her girls. Her long braid was so pretty & honestly this gorgeous bride didn’t need much of any hair and makeup – just naturally radiant! Much of the wedding brought in DIY elements and the family & friends were all eager to pitch in their help! The flowers were via Norfolk Wholesale, but all of the reception decor was created by the bride’s mom and her close friends. Pastor Ed from home came to preside over the ceremony, which also included acoustic music by a few guests.

A friend of the couple came down and DJ’ed the reception and another close friend baked & decorated the beautiful naked cake! Black Pelican catered a delicious buffet dinner for the guests to enjoy before hitting the dance floor, which was custom made for them! The tent, tables & chairs were all rented from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals.
