Currituck Club Wedding | Evan & Ben | Corolla Wedding | Southern Hospitality Weddings & Events

Evan & Ben attended the 2018 Outer Banks Wedding Expo and were the lucky winners of that year’s OBX Dream Wedding! That meant that they were gifted a wedding donated by an all-star team of vendors to enjoy! I donated my planning & coordination services for that year’s Dream Wedding so I was fortunate to be a part of this day!

The wedding was held at The Currituck Club in Corolla, NC! The ladies got ready in the bridal suite of the Club with hair & makeup by Salty Hair Salon.

The ceremony was on the soundfront property of The Currituck Club and Corolla Trolley shuttled guests to and from. Officiant David Rhodes presided and Club Violin played the string music for the nuptials.

All of the florals & decor for the wedding were created by the mastermind team of The Embellishers (now with I Do OBX Weddings), Sugar Snap Events & Flower Girls OBX! They all worked together to bring Evan’s rustic lavender dreams to life!

After the ceremony, guests headed back to the Clubhouse where they enjoyed live music from SoulONE band. Although outside catering isn’t usually permitted at The Currituck Club, due to the Dream Wedding being a donation based event, the Black Pelican Catering team provided the cocktail hour & dinner food. The Currituck Club was in charge of the bartending!

For the reception, Jeremy Russell aka Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment was on the mic as DJ for the evening. Guests also enjoyed a fresh baked pie assortment by Almost Heaven Bakery in lieu of a traditional cake! In addition to the basics from The Currituck Club, additional rental donations were made by both Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals & Metro Rental.

Additional transportation for guests staying outside of Corolla was via Island Limo. The newlyweds were also gifted an evening at The Inn at Corolla Light.

The dynamic duo of Ryan / Coastal Shots Photography & Kristi / Kristi Midgette Photography tag teamed the photography of the day and here are just some of my faves overall!
