Kristina & Trent’s Corolla Black Stallion Wedding – Outer Banks Wedding Planner

Some weddings are just timeless and this one from April is a true example of that! With the blush color scheme and a combination of rustic and romantic – this wedding will never go out of style! You don’t often see a black tie wedding in the Outer Banks and especially at an event house wedding so this was a real treat – the bride & groom were both so stunning in their formal apparel!

The dream team of wedding vendors really made this destination even more special – Renee Landry Events provided the gorgeous flowers, decor and vintage rental items. The flowers were just stunning but my favorite was the unique hanging lattice from the tent ceiling! This wedding also had one of my favorite ceremony setups to date – and you would never know it but it was the PLAN B! It was rainy & windy off and on all day so we decided to move the ceremony from the beach to the house and honestly it couldn’t have been more perfect! Back up plans for an event house wedding aren’t always the easiest, but this house has one of the best!

Other rentals were provided by Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals while linen was by BBJ Linen and the room was romantically lit by Blue Steel Lighting Design.  The ladies of Lovie’s Salon and Spa, Alicia & Kelly, were on hand to get the girls camera-ready with hair & makeup and ceremony chairs were provided and setup by the I Do OBX Chairs team. The two amazing cakes were crafted by Just Desserts and honestly were almost too pretty to eat! The Whiskey Rebellion via Sam Hill Entertainment provided a Southern soundtrack for the evening and Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe kept everyone fed with their delicious catering.

Reel Love Weddings was there to capture the evening on film – check out the gorgeous wedding video here – and the couple brought good friend from home and professional photographer Michael Guy Coates to get pictures of the festivities! A limo via Island Limo whisked the couple around Corolla to get the amazing shots seen below!

Ashley
