One of the most unique Outer Banks venues is definitely Sanctuary Vineyards! This Jarvisburg venue is just across the bridge from the Outer Banks and has actual vineyards on site that are a perfect ceremony backdrop and then the area that they make the wine as a reception space! A wedding would be beautiful at Sanctuary Vineyards any time of year but it was definitely spectacular for Kelly & Kevin’s fall wedding!
The ladies rented a cottage in Kill Devil Hills and then the Glimmer team took care of all the hair & makeup. The ceremony was in front of the gorgeous vineyards and Club Violin played music as guests were arriving and then as we started the ceremony. Barbara Mulford was our sweet officiant for the ceremony – she always keeps everyone so calm and in the moment!
Honeysuckle Events created all the gorgeous florals at both the ceremony & the reception! The fall color palette with deep burgundy and greens was a perfect compliment to Sanctuary Vineyards. I especially loved the floral accents on the arch!
Although the venue is amazing and provides all of the ceremony chairs, reception tables & chairs and more, for the few extra items we needed to rent like linens and a battery-powered PA system for the ceremony we used Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals.
Cafe Lachine catered a delicious buffet dinner for everyone and Sanctuary Vineyards served their own wines as well as beer. The cake was made by a friend of the bride’s! After dinner, the dance party got started very quickly because of the energetic band the couple chose – The Jangling Reinharts!
Island Limo was waiting at the end of the reception after the sparkler exit to make sure everyone had a safe ride home!
The wonderful Erin Lundy of Lundy Photography was their capturing the day from start to finish – enjoy all of the beautiful photos below!
