Sound to Sea Beach Club Wedding | Allison & Hunter | Corolla Wedding

Allison & Hunter had one of those absolutely perfect May wedding days! You know – the one you dream of! I wish every single one of my clients could have a day like this, but because Mother Nature isn’t very predictable, I never take these gorgeous days for granted so this Sound to Sea Beach Club wedding is extra special!

The ladies were pampered at the Lovie’s Salon in Corolla and once hair & makeup were complete, they came back to the house to get dressed.

Their wedding was at Sound to Sea Beach Club – an incredible event home in Corolla rented via Twiddy! This home is oceanfront and has a backyard perfect for a tented reception and the best feature? A lazy river! The ceremony took place on the beach where I Do OBX Chairs setup the chairs, their Pastor Tim Ward from home officiated, and Jessie Taylor of A Major Harmony played violin!

The reception was under a beautiful clear top tent – MY FAVE! – set by Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. They also provided all of the other reception rentals! All of the centerpieces and florals were created by The Embellishers* and were so bright & fun! Allison & Hunter were ahead of the trend – they incorporated the Pantone Color of the Year – Living Coral – as their main color.

The catering team at Coastal Provisions* served a delicious plated dinner and a private bartender was hired to serve up the drinks all night! Coastal DJ took over the music post-ceremony and as you can see in the photos below, really kept the party going! The cake? A stunning naked cake by Icing on the Cakes and adorned with beautiful booms!

Eventually this party for the ages had to come to a close at the event home, but we just relocated! OBX Trolley shuttled the newlyweds and their guests to an after party at Uncle Ike’s!
