Their celebration unfolded on a picture-perfect May day in Corolla, NC, complete with a waterfront ceremony, an unforgettable sunset, and a candlelit reception under the stars.

The couple exchanged vows on The Pointe, one of the most breathtaking ceremony locations at the Whalehead Club. Surrounded by water & a gentle breeze, the moment felt both intimate and cinematic. The soft May sunlight and sweeping views created an atmosphere that could only be described as coastal perfection.

Meg & Tom’s design embraced the beauty of understated luxury — lush greenery, warm candlelight, and classic coastal touches that felt fresh, effortless, and intentionally refined.

A standout feature of the evening was the greenery and lighting installation over the dance floor. Floating above the guests like a canopy of movement and glow, it added depth, texture, and a sense of organic romance to the clear-tent reception. As the sun set over the Currituck Sound, the reception space transformed. The clear tent reflected the golden light and later the candlelit tables below, creating a warm, ethereal atmosphere. Guests danced under the stars, surrounded by greenery, twinkling lights, and the natural beauty that makes Outer Banks weddings so unforgettable.
