The Pine Island Lodge event home in Corolla is one of the largest wedding homes on the Outer Banks! It’s so perfect for weddings because of it’s flexible spaces, oceanfront location and close proximity to the Hampton Inn for any overflow guests!

Rachel & Travis knew it was the perfect location for their Outer Banks wedding for all of those reasons and then some!

The ladies got ready in the private bridal suite where Southern Blush Beauty did hair and makeup.

The day was a bit breezy but we still kept the beautiful views of the top level sun deck for the ceremony. From this spot you have panoramic views of the ocean & sound! The sweetest officiant, Barbara Mulford, officiated the nuptials.

The reception was held inside the dining room & “ballroom” area of the main house. We added rentals from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals to the items the house already has like tables & chairs!

Bells & Whistles created the most beautiful bouquets with coral charm peonies – they brought extra cheer on a pretty grey day. The centerpieces were classic with lots of candlelight.

Steamers catered the amazing meal while Andrew of Coastal DJ created the party!

One of my favorite details of this wedding was the champagne seating chart! After cocktail hour, guests were greeted into the dining area with a glass of champagne telling them their table location. Perfect way to kick off the reception!

This couple didn’t have a sweet tooth, but did have an affection for something a little different…enter the cheese “cake” from Trio! It was legit a cake built of different cheese varieties! Yes please!
