Rebecca & Ted’s Pine Island Lodge Wedding | Corolla Wedding Planner

Rebecca & Ted’s sunset wedding at the Pine Island Lodge last summer was one for the books! With the date in August and temperatures still pretty hot during the afternoon hours, this couple decided to do a “reverse” timeline and enjoyed their cocktail hour first, then were able to take advantage of the spectacular sunset views for their ceremony! Earlier in the day, the ladies were pampered by the lovely Glimmer Hair & Makeup team to make sure they were photo ready.

During cocktail hour, Rebecca & Ted had “The Bob Zone” on hand to create caricature drawings for each of their guests – what a fun, interactive idea & a great keepsake for your guests!

We chose the top deck at the Pine Island Lodge for the ceremony location because it has ocean to sound views (perfect at sunset!) and it really can’t be beat! I Do OBX Chairs setup the ceremony chairs & arch, while Tony of I Do OBX Weddings performed the ceremony! The bride’s brother was kind enough to play guitar for the processional music!

The stunning bouquets were from Shelley at Honeysuckle Events – probably one of my favorite bouquets ever! The reception decor was actually DIY elements from the clients and some greenery & assorted flowers that they ordered online and I put together on wedding day! Simple and elegant!

The evening was catered by Coastal Provisions and then Icing on the Cakes baked the cake! In addition to the wedding cake, they also had Duck Donuts on hand!

The rentals were via Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals and included a few additional tables & chairs for the reception, linens & all of the dinnerware! OBX Endless Summer Childcare was onsite at the house to offer babysitting services to those guests with children so the adults could fully enjoy the party 🙂

Matt Lusk Photography was on-hand to capture the day in photos and he crushed it! The confetti shots will ALWAYS be some of my favorite photos ever – they are just gorgeous! Check out some of my favorites below!

Ashley
