Whalehead Club Wedding | Kellie & Josh | Corolla Wedding

Looking for a wedding venue with history, charm, water views & a blank canvas to work with? Look no further than The Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC! With this venue, the sky is the limit on your creativity and that’s why you see so many styles showcased here. Kellie & Josh nailed the Rustic Coastal look for their Whalehead Wedding and had a showstopper of a sunset sky as their best decor item!

The ladies got ready off-site at a house in Corolla where family friend Katie Cadwell did the hair & makeup. Once everyone was ready, the wedding party all met on the Whalehead Club grounds where Kellie & Josh did their first look on the bridge.

The ceremony was on the Pointe lawn and I Do OBX setup the chairs. Rev. Jay Bowman officiated the ceremony and the sky really did showoff during the nuptials!

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the house porch and nearby lawn. Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe did the catering and Camp Cocktail was on the bartending! The DJ for the evening was Bobby B Entertainment out of Southern Virginia!

Metro Rentals provided all of the reception rentals, including the gorgeous clear panel tent! Clear tops are one of my favorite things because of the way light really reflects and elevates the space! Below I may have overshared on the tent photos but you’ll see what I mean about how the light reflects of the clear panels!

Sugar Snap Events nailed this Rustic Nautical look with the mix of navy, lanterns, rope accents & more – it was so beautiful and a perfect compliment to the Corolla location!

The newlyweds did a quick cake cutting and then guests got to enjoy Duck Donuts as their sweet treat!

The Genevieve Stewart Photography team was with us to capture all the priceless moments of Kellie & Josh’s wedding day – here’s some of my favorites!
