Black Stallion Wedding | Rachael & Mark | Corolla Wedding

When the wedding couple has been dating pretty much half their lives, you know the celebration is going to be extra epic and Rachael & Mark’s wedding at the Black Stallion in Corolla was exactly that! This group of family & friends were so excited to be finally celebrating the newlyweds and it was truly a party for the ages.

Rachael had a specific vibe she was going for – she wanted a very vintage – Hollywood glamour type style throughout the wedding and she 100% succeeded! Her wedding dress & birdcage veil were a nod to the vintage look so Glimmer Hair & Makeup also made sure her beauty look matched that. All of the bridesmaids were stunning in jewel tones that also kept that glamour vibe.

The ceremony took place in the backyard of the Black Stallion event home and Renee Landry Events created a stunning scene for it. The chairs were all mismatched vintage in rows between two stunning ruffled archways – one for the officiant, Uncle Jim, to stand in front of at the top of the aisle and the other at the back for the bride to walk through. Their family friend, Jackson Weatherby, played guitar and sang for the ceremony processional & recessional.

Corolla Trolley shuttled guests to and from the venue, as well as transported the wedding party around the picturesque areas of the Currituck Club neighborhood for photos!

The reception was created by two parts – the cocktail hour & dinner area and then the dance party! The cocktail hour & dinner were located poolside and in the adjacent lawn. The detail on the tablescapes were just incredible – so many different vintage finds that created one of a kind centerpieces. There were also many other tableaus created by both Renee Landry & the bride, Rachael, like the “guest book” station, memory table and more. The luxe linens really set off the whole look – those were by La Tavola and that lace overlay is seriously to die for! Another unique and super cute detail? Each table had a little tiered stand that was filled with Cafe Lachine‘s incredible bite sized desserts! Guests could enjoy these before or after the dinner, also by Cafe Lachine!

All other rentals were via Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals, including the clear top tent and black & white checkered dance floor for the dance party! After dinner, the party moved to this tent space where The Company Band had the party turned up in no time! PS – Check out that amazing bird cage “chandelier” Renee Landry created for over the dance floor!

This was one of my favorite weddings of all time because of the amazing couple, super fun party and all the gorgeous details and it was SO hard narrowing my favorites down for this blog post Enjoy the overload of photos by Adeline Photography and the highlight video by Swell Films below!
