Black Stallion Event Home Wedding | Shannon & Dan | Corolla Wedding

Shannon & Dan’s Black Stallion event home wedding in Corolla was such an incredible wedding from start to finish! Be prepared for long blog post because there are just so many pretty details to share! Let’s start with Shannon’s wedding gown – it was the most amazing dress from Made with Love Bridal! I remember when Shannon sent me a photo of the dress during planning – I became obsessed with it then and couldn’t wait for her wedding day to see it in person! It did not disappoint! Of course the ladies of Lovie’s did her hair & makeup and made sure she perfectly matched the dress – so beautiful & natural!

We built lots of photo time into our wedding day timeline and it allowed Ryan & Rach to take Shannon & Dan offsite to the Whalehead Club for some beautiful photos before the ceremony! The ceremony then took place on the beach with an arch via Renee Landry & chairs from I Do OBX Chairs. Jessie Taylor played the violin for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour back at the event home with music played by Graham Outten and appetizers from Red Sky Cafe! Red Sky also provided fun food stations for the dinner.

Shannon only had her sister with her as a bridesmaid and I love that they both carried huge bouquets of JUST GREENERY! Greenery was used throughout the wedding decor and the overall look was very relaxed, coastal bohemian. Renee Landry Events did an amazing job with all of the florals & decor! So many vintage items and mismatched candlesticks and more were used to accent the tablescapes that had macrame runners via Shabby Dream Shop and the other half of the tables had lush greenery garland. All of the tables were Renee Landry’s rustic farm tables! In addition to the macrame runners from The Shabby Dream Shop on the tables, we also had some of her handmade dream catchers accenting the reception.

The reception all took place around the Black Stallion’s impressive pool – made even more impressive by the pool cover dance floor installed by Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals! What an epic place for a first dance and a dance party! DJ Bruce of course kept the dance party going strong all night – even when the dance floor turned into a slip n slide & a pool party followed! Shannon & Dan cut into a yummy naked cake from Icing on the Cakes and then guests were also treated to Duck Donuts!
