Stephanie & Justin chose one of the best venues, The Currituck Club, for their Outer Banks wedding. The Currituck Club is a gorgeous blank canvas that you can style however you like and has the most beautiful soundfront ceremony site! It also hold a special place in my heart….I used to work there for years!
The Currituck Club has an on-site bridal suite where the Glimmer Salon team was able to doll up all the ladies before the ceremony began. The Corolla Trolley shuttled all the guests from the Clubhouse down to the ceremony site on #7 where the Currituck Sound makes the perfect backdrop to get married in front of! Rev. Jay Bowman officiated for the couple.
All of the gorgeous flowers were created by Flower Girls OBX! One of my favorite details were the boxes of lush pampas and florals lining the ceremony aisle!
For the reception, Stephanie & Justin opted to rent a tent to cover the patio area of the Clubhouse for dinner service. We also rented amazing specialty linens from BBJ Linen – I loved the mismatch of the two styles – and added the gold chairs & charger plates from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals as the finishing touches! The decor in the tent & the veranda featured a mix of greenery, gold geometric details & blush and ivory flowers!
After dinner & toasts, the dance party then moved into the veranda where Coastal DJ kept everyone going! Guests were treated to Patty Bakes cake for dessert – the geometric design complimented the reception decor!
On the way out, guests were also able to grab some Duck Donuts as favors!
