Outer Banks Weddings aren’t always big beachside celebrations and I love doing weddings of all sizes & styles! Intimate gatherings like Erin & Quinn’s are actually some of my favorites! This soundside soiree at their family’s beach house was absolutely stunning and no detail was overlooked!
During the day, Erin & all the ladies were glammed up by the Glimmer Hair & Makeup team! Erin was absolutely stunning throughout the evening and even did a hairstyle change post ceremony! For the ceremony, guests walked just a few feet from the family home to an intimate soundfront ceremony location. Benches were setup by Bells & Whistles and Erin carried a gorgeous bouquet by them as well!
For the reception, we tented the soundside backyard and Erin choose the dark wood farm tables from Metro Rental, paired with their “X Back” chairs. Bells & Whistles then added a perfect combination of coastal elegance and a little glam to the tables. The centerpieces were a mix of white & blush coral pieces, airplants, candlelight, gold accents & roses – swoon! The place settings featured glass beaded chargers and silverware also via Metro Rental and then hand-painted Capiz Shells with the guests’ names for seating.
The delicious multi-course plated meal was prepared by Red Sky Cafe and later the guests also enjoyed a dessert bar from Red Sky and a key lime bliss cake from Great Cakes! After dinner, guests were able to enjoy the lounge area with rentals from Bells & Whistles before sending the newlyweds off via a sparkler exit!
The photos were by Genevieve Stewart Photography and are incredible! We built in lots of time for photos so that the bride, groom & their family could go take photos around the Whalehead Club grounds, the beach and then soundfront and dockside at the house! PS – the family’s beach house is actually for rent if you’re looking for a soundfront Corolla getaway! Check it out here!
