Catie & Nick chose Jennette’s Pier for their Outer Banks wedding last year but instead of a coastal wedding, they decided on a Kate Spade inspired soiree! That meant a color palette of black, white, gold & fuchsia! We mixed and matched stripes and polka dots and of course lots of gold and pink pops! I’m obsessed with the peony bouquets created by Bells & Whistles and the ceremony arch that looked perfectly Kate Spade! The DIY Centerpieces were kept simple with floating gold candles so that the mixed patters could stand out but the finishing touch was definitely the fuchsia napkins we folded into a bow at each seat! For sure a labor of love but worth it!
Rev. Jay Bowman officiated Catie & Nick’s ceremony and I Do OBX Chairs provided the ceremony chairs for the guests. For the reception, though Jennette’s Pier provides all the tables and chairs, we ordered the dance floor & all of the dinnerware from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. Red Sky catered the delicious dinner and bartended for the evening.
Part of the design also included the amazing cake by Great Cakes! Catie wanted this to play into the full decor of the reception and Marsha did just that with the black and white pattern play fondant design! We had Matt Cooper of Outer Banks Music Masters as our DJ for the ceremony & reception and he always keeps the guests entertained!
