Kathleen & Tony’s Wild Horse Wedding | Carova Wedding Planner

Kathleen & Tony had a gorgeous destination wedding in the Outer Banks last August! They chose one of my favorites – Twiddy’s the Wild Horse in the 4×4 area or Carova. This house is amazing for so many reasons like the unparalleled  views and the horse visitors but the decks are just perfect for weddings and events! There’s two huge decks, one covered deck with a bar and then of course all the wrap around porches!

This was such a fun group too – they all traveled to the beach to spend time together for the week and we did the wedding in the middle of the week so they could enjoys the days before and after!

On the wedding day, all of the ladies were pampered by the Lovie’s crew in the upper floor of the house.

Ceremony Chairs on the beach were provided and setup by I Do OBX Chairs while the arch was built by the clients! The Embellishers created the beautiful bouquets and centerpieces featuring the bride’s favorite flowers – orchids!

Reception Rentals like tables, chairs & linens were all rented through Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. Red Sky Cafe catered a few of the week’s events for these lovebirds, including the wedding reception! The Just Desserts cake was to die for as always!

Matt Cooper of Outer Banks Music Masters provided the music for the evening and had the dance floor packed!

You know how some weddings are just a bit more emotionally charged than others? Kathleen & Tony’s was that way and you can see it captured in the photos below by Addison George Photography!
