Mallory & Will’s Carova Wedding | Outer Banks Wedding Planner

Mallory & Will were such a sweet, southern couple! Getting to know them and their family was one of the best parts of their Carova wedding and I was blessed to spend not just the wedding day with them but the rehearsal day as well! We had Red Sky Cafe cater both their rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception (plus a few other meals as well – perfect option for people renting in Carova!) at Twiddy’s The Dream. Flower Girls OBX took care of flowers & decor for both evenings as well! All the fabulous rentals for this Outer Banks wedding came from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals – the farm tables stole the show and the Tuscan X-back chairs were the perfect fit!

On the wedding day, the ladies of Lovie’s made sure everyone was photo-ready and I loved the little touches of extra flowers in the girls’ hair! The ceremony setup was one of my favorite of ALL-TIME! The vintage doors on the sand with the gorgeous floral garland by the Flower Girls OBX was the perfect combo and looked stunning against the stormy skies! PS – later we absolutely had a downpour but it thankfully waited until after ceremony & pictures 🙂 I Do OBX Chairs provided the ceremony chairs on the beach and Tony Joseph led the heartfelt beach ceremony for us.

Renee Landry Events added some bistro lighting across the decks to create extra ambiance for the reception, while the Coastal DJ team kept the party going. Mallory chose Just Desserts for her cake and special requested red velvet cake – their favorite and mine too! The huge, ruffled cake was honestly too stunning to eat but oh, so delicious!

This OBX beach wedding was perfectly captured by the Coastal Shots team of Ryan & Hayley – they even got some wild horses in the background of Mallory & Will’s portraits!
