The Pine Island Lodge is one of the best event homes in the Outer Banks because it offers so many different ways to use the house for weddings! Another perk? It’s right next door to the Hampton Inn for overflow accommodations 🙂
Colleen & Pete booked this gorgeous oceanfront event home (rented by Atlantic Realty) for their wedding and created a romantic seaside celebration.
The ladies of Lovie’s Salon did the hair & makeup for the bridal party in the amazing pool house aka bridal suite of the home.
The ceremony took place on the beach right in front of the house and Tony of I Do OBX Weddings officiated and provided the chairs. Club Violin played the ceremony processional & recessional music.
Cocktail hour was held poolside at the house and Steamers offered delicious appetizers for guests to enjoy. Later, dinner was buffet style.
Bells & Whistles provided all of the florals & decor for the wedding. For the reception, we opted for a mix of the Pine Island Lodge’s farm tables & chairs with round tables and rented chiavari chairs via Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. The linens were all from BBJ Linen and the mix of the blushes and neutrals were so pretty together!
Once all of the formalities were complete, we moved the party upstairs to the top deck with sweeping views of the sound and ocean. Bells & Whistles had strung bistro lights overhead to add some ambiance and DJ Bruce kicked off the dance party!
For their sweet treat, guests were able to have both cake from Just Desserts & Duck Donuts!
