Maria & Larry had a very rainy wedding day, but even at the dreariest, they brought the sunshine with their joy & energy! They selected the Pine Island Lodge for their summer celebration and there’s so many amazing things about this event home, but having so much great indoor space for a Plan B is definitely one of them and it sure came in handy!
The bride & her ladies got ready in the bridal suite with the Glimmer team doing hair & makeup. With the rain showing no signs of stopping before the ceremony, we moved it inside to the covered deck and ballroom space. I Do OBX Weddings & Events did all of the ceremony chairs & the arch design so they were so great about working with us on this Plan B! Tony Joseph officiated! Thankfully, we were eventually able to sneak in some photos outside of the couple & wedding party.
The Pine Island Lodge has great farm tables we used for the reception and then added additional rentals from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. Flower Girls OBX did all of the centerpieces and florals, including the cute succulent favors for each guest!
The dinner was catered by Basnight’s Lone Cedar & they also did the bartending! Instead of cake, the newlyweds celebrated with Duck Donuts. Jeremy Russell was the DJ and he had the party going!
