Roanoke Island Festival Park Wedding | Whitney & Kurt | Manteo Wedding

Looking for a picturesque soundfront spot for your Outer Banks wedding that’s a bit off the beaten path? If so, you’ll be just as obsessed with Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo as I am!  There’s just something about cedar shake & the soundfront that gets me every time and Festival Park offers that in abundance!

Whitney & Kurt chose to get married at Roanoke Island Festival Park and it was a dream from start to finish! The ladies got ready at a Kees Vacations home “Fantasea” over on the beach in Nags Head where Glimmer Hair & Makeup got them all dolled up and the guys got ready at the groom’s family beach home!

Corolla Trolley chauffeured the ladies over to the venue where Whitney & Kurt did a first look (Team First Look!) and then did some photos with the whole wedding party on the soundside docks! The ceremony chairs were setup by I Do OBX Chairs and Ellen of Takes 2 Weddings officiated. The talented Jessie Taylor provided the ceremony music.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner – both catered by Basnight’s Lone Cedar. The beautiful and of course delicious cake was by Just Desserts.

The reception on the Festival Park stage was just beautiful! All of the rentals were from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals and then Flower Girls OBX added all the decor! The mix of grey, greens, candlelight & wooden accents were just so beautiful – one of my favorites for sure 🙂 All of the paper suite was designed by Just Write! By Nan and then the seating chart & other signage was hand-lettered by Heart of Harlow and complimented everything perfectly!

It was at Whitney & Kurt’s wedding that I discovered one of my favorite wedding bands – Lucky Pocket Band via Sam Hill Entertainment! Such a fun band and you can be sure the dance floor stayed packed!

The amazing Coastal Shots Photography team captured the whole day and here’s just a few of my favorites below – it was tough to narrow down! You’ll also want to check out the video by Jared Cook Films linked HERE too – be ready for all the feels!
