Black Stallion Wedding | Mikaela & John | Corolla Wedding

Mikaela & John took advantage of the “off season” on the Outer Banks for their wedding! In the wintertime, sunsets are even more vibrant and crowds are sparse, so if you don’t mind the cooler temps, the winter season my be right for your wedding too!

They rented the gorgeous Black Stallion event home in Corolla via Kees Vacations for their wedding week.

The Lovie’s ladies did hair & makeup for the bridal party in the amazing bridal suite of the rental house.

We had the ceremony at The Currituck Club at their beautiful soundfront ceremony location just before sunset. Corolla Trolley provided the transportation to get guests & wedding party to and from the ceremony site to the wedding house!

The reception was held back at the Black Stallion event house, where Outer Banks Brewing Station catered!

After playing guitar for their ceremony, Jeremy Russell was the DJ for the evening.

The glam cake was by Just Desserts and was the centerpiece of the reception! The clients rented uplighting that really transformed the event space for dinner & dancing! Other reception rentals were from Metro Rental.

Jonathan Pillow Photography captured the day, including the amazing golden hour & sunset we were blessed with! Enjoy some of my faves below!
