Black Stallion Wedding | Kelly & Tom | Corolla Wedding

Kelly & Tom are true examples of planning a wedding from afar – both were deployed overseas for the majority of their planning! Proof that it still can be done, right?

The ladies enjoyed getting ready in the bridal suite of the pool house where Lovie’s –  Alicia & Kelly – did their hair & makeup!

They were married in the backyard of the Black Stallion where Tony Joseph officiated.

All of our rentals were from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals and then Tony’s team at I Do OBX Weddings did the lighting! While the weather cooperated and gave us a beautiful window for the ceremony & photos, we knew that some storms were moving in so made the decision to move dinner inside to our Plan B.

Dinner was catered by Mission BBQ out of Virginia Beach who are known for their support of our troops!

After dinner guests enjoyed cake varieties from Nothing Bundt Cakes!

Even though is was pouring sideways rain, the cool newlyweds still went for their first dance under their tent – so worth it! The dance party then stayed inside to keep everyone safe and Matt Cooper was on the tunes!

Another thing this couple went all in for? Some video out in the rain under their pool lights, captured by Heart’s Home Films. Loved their attitude through the tough weather!

Enjoy the photos by Outer Banks Productions below and the film by Heart’s Home!
